Climbing and Riding in New England and Beyond

Christopher St. is located in Rhode Island. It is 319.4 meters long with an average gradient of 8.1% and a maximum gradient of 16.7%. Find similar hills.

Christopher is a much better climb than it looks from the bottom. It looks steep, for sure, but it also looks short. (Don't get your hopes up, it's still a "short climb" by anyone's estimation.) But once you get above the section of 16%, you realize that the pitch at the bottom was steep enough that you couldn't see the rest of the hill. It keeps going for a while, and the gradient is still fairly hard.
