Douglas Hook (East)

The eastern side of Douglas Hook is nowhere near as hard as the western side. That said, this side does feature a sprint to the top in the Mark Nicholson Smackdown Ride which makes it feel much harder than it would be under normal training/riding circumstances. The hill is a series of small rollers culminating in a fairly steep final section. If you go too early, that last part will get you every time.
