Cadillac MountainOne of the nicest climbs in the U.S. Steep enough to give you a great workout, but not so steep as to require special gears. The views from the top are spectacular. The descent is a little scary, however. The top is exposed and, being right on the Atlantic Ocean, receives intense wind gusts. I was afraid I'd be blown off the mountain or into a cliff wall at the top of the climb. In August, stop by the side of the road on the way down to eat some of tasty wild blueberries. See Cadillac Access Road for more detail on the summit road. Mount Cadillac Access Road (2.7 KM) Jordon Pond Road (4.9 KM) Day Mountain (9.8 KM) Location: Maine (Map
