Baldwin Street

This hill is claimed by the Guinness Book of World Records to be the world's steepest street. While I don't put too much faith in my gps data, but I am still quite dubious of the claim. For one thing, it seems that the claimed 35% (or 38%, depending on the claim) is probably a "maximum gradient" not an average gradient. Only a few hills can claim an average gradient of greater than 25%, and some of those show spikes of greater than 40%. Since I won't be going to New Zealand any time soon, I won't be able to personally verify this one.
